(UPDATE: Unfortunately, IDP Chairman Schmuhl cannot be with us this week after all. But Melanie Wright, Kent Yeager, and Senator Fady Qaddoura will bring us excellent perspectives on the work Democrats are doing to improve the future for Hoosiers!)
We have an exciting opportunity this week, with Indiana Democratic Party Deputy Chair for Rural Engagement Kent Yeager and others coming to speak right here in Grant County!
We hope to see as many of you as possible out in downtown Marion this Thursday for this special event.
Yeager will speak to the importance of the Democratic Party's support of rural Hoosier communities, with the expansion of broadband internet access and more — which will be very important to Grant County!
Other speakers will include:
Melanie Wright, an educator and former state lawmaker, who will speak to the importance of the Democratic Party's support of public education (defending it against attacks from the GOP)
State Senator Fady Qaddoura, who has worked on workforce development, education, and many other topics important to Indiana families during his time as a public servant
This event is scheduled for 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 18, at the Sender Building in downtown Marion, 100 S. Washington St.
Come on out and hear more about President Joe Biden's Big Deal, the American Rescue Plan, and what Democrats' work means for Hoosiers!
Please share with anyone else you think might be interested in this local opportunity to hear from these outstanding Democrats.
