At the May 18 meeting, we promised to send links out about several news items and upcoming opportunities. Here they are!
ZeNai Brooks is the new Executive Director for the Indiana Democratic Party. Click here to learn more about her. (Note: Mike Schmul remains Chair, this is a separate position!)
We will have an outreach table at Grant County Pride in the Park, noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, June 24, in Matter Park near the bandshell, and we are looking for volunteers. Let us know if you would like to join us! (In addition, if you have other suggestions for area events that we could consider for outreach, let us know.)

Precinct committee members in attendance at Thursday's meeting approved a resolution giving the Chair authority to appoint candidates for vacancies on the fall ballot. With that in place, we will be moving forward in the next few weeks with such appointments. (The deadline is noon July 3.) If you know anyone interested in being considered for a ballot vacancy, please direct them to this form, where we are collecting information.
This Tuesday evening, RUBI (Rural Urban Bridge Initiative) in partnership with the Indiana Democratic Party is offering a virtual training that we think many of you may be interested in. Click to learn more.

We hope to see you at our upcoming GC Dems Connect gathering!
We will be discussing the upcoming election and other events and potential fundraisers. All local Democrats are welcome to come and participate in discussion.
